Hometown Harvest Fest

Welcome the change of seasons and enjoy fall traditions during Hometown Harvest Fest presented by the Tunkhannock Business and Professional Association. Heirloom quilts, original needlepoint designs, music, and food specialties are all available for your enjoyment. Visit the many participating locations and enjoy the artists and musicians along with shopping, and entertainment all with a backdrop of the Endless Mountains. Christmas in Our Hometown

NOW Friday and Saturday, December 12th and 13th.
Friday kicks off with a Santa Parade and tree lighting with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Peoples Security Bank during a live broadcast with WBRE-TV. Then the evening kicks off with Wagon rides, Ice Carvings, entertainment and vendors.

Founder's Day

The tradition of Tunkhannock’s Founder’s Day pulls together activities that both observe long-established service and also celebrates new activities. The annual event, includes festivities that celebrate the over 100 years anniversary of an area business and also adds entertainment, music, over 150 vendors along with a greater assortment of food.
